Kirkstall Abbey is one of Britain’s best-preserved abbeys and an easy stroll from Headingley. Originally built in 1152, it is undergoing restoration which means some parts of the abbey are closed to the public but the grounds remain open and free of charge.
The Corn Exchange, located in central Leeds, is an outstanding example of Victorian Architecture from the 1800s and is now a listed historical building. Today the domed circular structure is popular with shoppers as it houses a range of trendy retailers, ranging from quirky novelty shops and upscale clothing boutiques to a popular restaurant and bar in the centre of the buidling.
