Situated on the southwest-facing slope of Mendip Hills, Ebbor Gorge has been designated as a biological site of special scientific interest. This limestone gorge, owned by the National Trust, spanning 41 hectares, features marked trails and caves that were once inhabited by neolithic peoples.
