Haslam Park is a popular escape for nature lovers with its scenic lake, array of wildfowl, wildflower meadows and comfortable park benches. A natural waterfall joins the lake to the Lancaster Canal.
Although smaller in size when compared to some of Preston's other parks, Ribbleton Park offers a large amount of amenities. Wooded paths, bowling greens, community gardens, three full and one junior football pitches are a few of the facilities inside the park.
A lush green wooded country park near Preston that stretches 185 acres (74.9 ha) of land. Plenty of picnic spaces, paths, parking and a visitor centre with a cafe are on site.
Situated close to Avenham Park, Miller Park is known for its spectacular floral displays. Sundial flower beds, a Grotto water feature and an ornamental rose garden are among the park's features.
Occupying the largest open space in Preston, Moor Park is a well used venue for exhibitions and events. Four bowling greens, space for cricket matches, baseball pitches and more facilities are available at the park.
