Eastbridge Hospital was a pilgrim's hospital and it dates back more than 800 years. Since its inception in the 12th century, the Arch Bishop of Canterbury has been the patron. Greyfriars Chapel, circa 1267, was the first English Franciscan Friary. The gardens are open for visitors to enjoy.
