Claiming to be the world's only submarium, The Deep is home to 40 sharks and almost 4,000 fish. Located in Hull and jutting into the Humber River, the aquarium is both dramatic in its outward appearance and in allowing visitors a glimpse of the river into which it was built. Featuring a host of interactive displays, all-encompassing tanks and a futuristic research lab, the aquarium is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
