Around since the 1550s, Ye Olde White Harte Pub in Hull is a traditional Enlgish pub with nooks and crannies and plenty of history. The decision that triggered the English Civil War was reputedly made in the upstairs room of the pub in 1642. Today, the pub serves lunch and evening meals and is located in the alleyway that runs between Silver Street and Bowlalley Lane.
